{"id":12,"date":"2010-09-16T02:56:03","date_gmt":"2010-09-16T06:56:03","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mondomark.com\/wordpress\/?p=1004"},"modified":"2010-09-16T02:56:03","modified_gmt":"2010-09-16T06:56:03","slug":"library-music-part-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kqek.com\/mobile\/?p=12","title":{"rendered":"Library Music, Part 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mondomark.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DawnDead_1978_stockmusic_s.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-1005\" title=\"DawnDead_1978_stockmusic_s\" src=\"http:\/\/mondomark.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/09\/DawnDead_1978_stockmusic_s.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a>In Part 3,  I looked at the CD release of the Capitol Hi-Q tracks used by George Romero in <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/dvd_reviews\/n2o\/2045_NightLivingDeadElite.htm\">Night  of the Living Dead<\/a><\/strong> (1968), and interviewed the CD\u2019s producer, Jim  Cirronella.<\/p>\n<p>Just uploaded are CD reviews of Trunk Records\u2019 <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/cd_lp_reviews\/d\/CD_0226_DawnOfTheDead1978Stock.htm\">Dawn  of the Dead: The Unreleased Incidental Music<\/a><\/strong>, drawing from the DeWolfe  Music Library which Romero used to partially score <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/dvd_reviews\/d\/2967_DawnDeadUltimate.htm\">Dawn  of the Dead<\/a><\/strong> (1978), and Cinevox\u2019 20th anniversary CD of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/cd_lp_reviews\/d\/CD_0225_DawnOfTheDead1978Goblin.htm\">Goblin\u2019s <strong>Dawn<\/strong> score<\/a>, which was largely  replaced by the DeWolfe cues for the U.S. version.<\/p>\n<p>In his liner notes for the NOTLD CD, Cirronella mentions a  pair of films scored with music from the Hi-Q library, so I\u2019ve uploaded reviews  of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/dvd_reviews\/t2u\/3699_TeenagersFromOuterSpace.htm\">Teenagers  from Outer Space<\/a><\/strong> (1959) and <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/dvd_reviews\/i\/3700_IncrediblePetrifiedWorld.htm\">The  Incredible Petrified World<\/a><\/strong> (1957).<\/p>\n<p>A future installment will cover some of the DeWolfe cues  available on CD, but coming shortly is a tally of current and  imminent soundtrack releases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"style3\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mark R.
