The past week&#8217;s been spent tweaking a novel grant application for next week&#8217;s deadline, hence the general lag time in getting new reviews up.<\/p>\n<p>The first to be uploaded is <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/dvd_reviews\/t2u\/3740_TamaraDrewe.htm\">Tamara Drewe<\/a> <\/strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/kqek.com\/mobile\/?p=2294\">M<\/a>], a promising, teasing visual gem that turns to be just shallow and woefully uneven. Not even the excellent cast have room to expand their limited roles, and at nearly 2 hours, it&#8217;s a deadly dull film.<\/p>\n<p>Alexandre Desplat&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/cd_lp_reviews\/t2u\/CD_0240_TamaraDrewe2010.htm\">score <\/a>[<a href=\"http:\/\/kqek.com\/mobile\/?p=2299\">M<\/a>] is nice, but it&#8217;s unfortunately married to the film&#8217;s lack of diverity, and depth.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mark R.
