Just uploaded is a review of Bear McCreary&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/cd_lp_reviews\/b\/CD_0441_BattlestarGalacticaBloodChrome.htm\">Battlestar Galactia: Blood &amp; Chrome<\/a> <\/strong>[<a href=\"http:\/\/kqek.com\/mobile\/?p=6512\">M<\/a>], and Roque Banos&#8217; superb <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/cd_lp_reviews\/e\/CD_0442_EvilDead2013.htm\">Evil Dead<\/a><\/strong> [<a href=\"http:\/\/kqek.com\/mobile\/?p=6522\">M<\/a>] (both from La-La Land Records).<\/p>\n<p>Banos&#8217; effort may be the best horror score of 2013 so far, and he&#8217;s another example of the amazing talent in Spain. McCreary, in turn, has taken on a new challenge: launching his own record label, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bearmccreary.com\/blog\/albums\/sparks-shadows\/\" >Sparks &amp; Shadows<\/a>, which will primarily handle his own work. The first four titles slated for release are two albums for the Trion Worlds videogame and SyFy series <strong>Defiance<\/strong>, the Starz \/ BBC series <strong>Da Vinci&#8217;s Demons<\/strong>, and the feature film <strong>Europa Report<\/strong>. I&#8217;ll have a review of <strong>Defiance<\/strong> shortly, alongside a trio of related videogame scores.<\/p>\n<p><em>Coming next:<\/em> Twilight Time&#8217;s Blu-ray of another extended franchise, <strong>Night of the Living Dead <\/strong>(1990), and Roy Frumkes&#8217; own effort to update and contextualize his <strong>Dawn of the Dead<\/strong> documentary, <strong>Document of the Dead<\/strong> (Synapse Films).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mark R.
