{"id":7316,"date":"2013-12-03T13:14:24","date_gmt":"2013-12-03T18:14:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mondomark.com\/wordpress\/?p=4527"},"modified":"2013-12-03T13:14:24","modified_gmt":"2013-12-03T18:14:24","slug":"soundtrack-reviews-18","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/kqek.com\/mobile\/?p=7316","title":{"rendered":"Soundtrack Reviews"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/mondomark.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/CompactDisc_image_s.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"size-full wp-image-863 alignleft\" title=\"CompactDisc_image_s\" src=\"http:\/\/mondomark.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/07\/CompactDisc_image_s.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"120\" height=\"120\" \/><\/a>Rue Morgue&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rue-morgue.com\/magazine\/latest-issue\" >December issue<\/a> is out, and I&#8217;ve got a quartet of reviews in the Audio Drome section: Joseph Bishara&#8217;s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/voidrecordings.com\/\" >Insidious: Chapter 2<\/a><\/strong> (Void Recordings), Call Me Greenhorn&#8217;s faux soundtrack album <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/callmegreenhorn.bandcamp.com\/album\/lisola-dei-morti-viventi-ost\" >L&#8217;isola dei morti viventi<\/a><\/strong>, New Goblin&#8217;s 2013 Tour EP (also reviewed at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.kqek.com\/cd_lp_reviews\/n2o\/CD_0472_NewGoblinTour2013EP.htm\">KQEK.com<\/a> [<a href=\"http:\/\/kqek.com\/mobile\/?p=7164\">M<\/a>]), and HobGoblin&#8217;s outstanding music for the silent film <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.novemberfire.com\/music\/nfrcd006.html\" >The Golem<\/a><\/strong>, released by November Fire Recordings in a 2-CD set. I&#8217;ve enjoyed HobGoblin&#8217;s prog-rock music for their upgraded silent films, and this is the band&#8217;s most accomplished work. Highly recommded.<\/p>\n<p>Also in this month&#8217;s issue is my DVD review of Jess Franco&#8217;s surprisingly good <strong>How to Seduce a Virgin<\/strong>, a solid erotic drama made in 1974 that&#8217;s been given a gorgeous transfer from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mondomacabrodvd.com\/\" >Mondo Macabro<\/a>.
