I\u2019ve a review of the  1080p Digital edition and the DVD released by MPI \/ filmbuff.<\/p>\n<p>Another related bonus is a review of <strong>No Man\u2019s Land <\/strong>(1987), watched not on DVD, but Betamax, because it  seemed appropriate to review a film using a similarly obsolete format. The  Editor\u2019s Blog will have some thoughts on that experience, plus a scan of some  rare ephemeral material related to this particular tape release.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, there\u2019s a review of David Gregory\u2019s <strong>Ban the Sadist Videos!<\/strong> (2005) which  comes as a bonus disc with Severin\u2019s <strong>House  on Straw Hill<\/strong> Blu-ray \/ DVD combo. Gregory\u2019s doc is a necessary  chronicle of the crazy fervour that resulted in Britain\u2019s Video Nasty era \u2013 a far  more dangerous period than the era when Mary Brown and her successors at the  old Ontario Censor Board went overboard, mandating cuts to art house and slasher  films.<\/p>\n<p>Uploaded are a trio of soundtrack reviews: Lior Ron\u2019s <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/kqek.com\/mobile\/?p=7426\">Pablo <\/a><\/strong>(Light Drop Music) \u2013 a documentary  on legendary graphic designer \/ montage and main title designer Pablo Ferro  that I\u2019m dying to see, and two <strong>Doctor  Who <\/strong>sets from Silva Screen: Murray Gold\u2019s music from <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/kqek.com\/mobile\/?p=7435\">Series 7<\/a><\/strong> and a winter  double-bill of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/kqek.com\/mobile\/?p=7431\">The Snowmen + The Doctor, the Widow, and  the Snowmen<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve settled on a new Word Press theme for the soon-to-be  revamped KQEK.com, and the new look should be up by mid-February.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, I\u2019ll also have some related reviews tied to  Severin\u2019s <strong>House on Straw Hill <\/strong>(call  it \u2018tormented artists &amp; poseurs\u2019), reviews of Twilight Time\u2019s really,  REALLY pretty Blu-ray editions of Ray Harryhausen\u2019s <strong>The Golden Voyage of Sinbad<\/strong> and <strong>Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger<\/strong>, and soundtrack reviews.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mark R.
