Ferenc Török’s post-WWII drama 1945 (2017), which had its Toronto Premiere at the 2017 TJFF.

The first film review from Toronto Jewish Film Festival’s 25th year is Ferenc Török’s drama 1945 (2017), in which the arrival of two strangers tear open a town’s dark secret in post-WWII Hungary. Török was present for the film’s only screening and Toronto Premiere on May 4th, and I’ll have further festival reviews up shortly, as TJFF is now at the midpoint.
