Animated TV Soundtracks

Ha. ‘Tomorrow’ is now Thursday, because it took about 3 days for the throat bug, as I call it, to run its course and be drawn, quartered, and yanked apart by antibiotics. I’ll post a separate blog (‘On Being Sick’) with polite words to mask unpleasantries, but let’s continue where I left off on Monday, before swallowing anything felt like a game of Ouch Pinball across the voice box, tongue, and ear quadrants.

At least I can consume larger forms of food (chunky soup, soft bread), but it’s unnerving that food tastes either a little burnt, or chemicallish.

I do have one thing to say, though: cream of wheat and honey, consumed separately and together, are the two greatest things on Earth. No one can prove otherwise.

Uploaded are a trio of soundtrack reviews for animated TV series, each released by La-La Land Records: Shirley Walker’s Batman: The Animated Series (Second Edition) [M], Kevin Kliesch’s Thundercats [M], and Young Justice [M] by Kristopher Carter, Michael McCuistion, and Lolita Ritmanis.

Coming next: On Being Sick, and / or reviews of two Walter Hill classics newly released by Twilight – Hard Times (1975) and The Driver (1978).
